A 70-year-old pedestrian was killed at noon (Friday) by a private vehicle on Upsterland Street in Raanana. An MDA intensive care team called to the scene determined the woman was dead. Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
The report of the accident was received at MDA’s 101 hotline in the Yarkon area at 11:54. Paramedics and paramedics found the woman with a multi-system injury with no signs of life.
Yossi Weichner, a senior paramedic at MDA, said: “The wounded woman was lying on the road next to the vehicle, unconscious and suffering from a very severe multi-act injury. We performed medical tests but she was without signs of life and we have no choice but to determine her death. “
