A 90-year-old woman was recently injured (Saturday) in a fire that broke out in an apartment on Malachi Street in Petah Tikva. .
MDA paramedic Chaim Yaakov Klapholtz said: “When we arrived at the scene, our friend from the fire brigade rescued the wounded woman when she was unconscious and suffering from burns on all parts of her body. We provided her with medical treatment and evacuated her to the hospital when her condition was difficult and unstable. “
Elhanan Shoshani, a paramedic from the Rescue Union, said: “Firefighters rescued an elderly woman from the apartment in critical condition. With the help of a volunteer paramedic from the Rescue Union and other paramedics, we provided her with first aid at the scene and then she was evacuated to the hospital suffering from burns and breathing problems.”
Fire investigators arrived at the scene and are investigating the circumstances of the fire.
