Banco Santander announced today a line of financing for agricultural producers affected by the drought throughout the country, of up to 2,000 million pesos.

To provide support to affected customers, Santander offers loans for the financing of working capital with a nominal annual rate of 74.5% and for a term of 180 days, for up to 50 million pesos per affected customer.

This line of credit is available to all those customers not covered by BCRA Communication A 7600, subject to credit qualification and previously qualified for the product.

“We maintain our commitment to assist agricultural producers in this context of drought that the sector is going through, for this reason we work to be able to offer credits that contribute to the recovery of those affected and with special rate conditions,” said Fernando Bautista, Head of Agribusiness of Santander Argentina, who added “our branches in the province, our company officers and those specialized in agribusiness, and our digital service channels are available to provide help and advice so that those affected by the drought can access these lines of credit immediately.
