A benefit performance of the famous actress, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Naiba Allahverdiyeva will take place on the stage of the Azerbaijan State Theater for Young Spectators in Baku.
On the occasion of Naiba Allahverdiyeva’s 60th birthday, on March 10, the theater will host a screening of the play “Gerçəkləşməyən arzular” (Unfulfilled Dreams), Day.Az reports.
The idea of the production is to combine roles that one actress has not played, but which she dreams of. The production will use excerpts from the plays “Romeo and Juliet”, “Hamlet”, “Antony and Cleopatra” by William Shakespeare, “Seville” by Jafar Jabbarli, “From the Rain and the Downpour” by Najaf Bey Vezirov.
The production director of the play is Honored Artist Nijat Kazymov, the graphic designer is Zamina Elbir, Aigul Gurbanova is working on the musical design, and the director’s assistants are Fuad Javadzadeh and Gunay Gasimova.
People’s artist Naiba Allahverdiyeva, honored artists Rasim Jafar, Elnur Bahramkhan, actors Anar Seyfullaev, Ramil Mamedov, Elshan Shikhaliev, Elgun Yahyayev, Kunyul Abilova, Mirsanan Kazymly, Ilkhan Sadygov, Araz Pirimov are engaged in the production.
Students of the Baku Choreographic Academy will also take part in the benefit performance. The director of the choreographic numbers is Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Nailya Mammadzade.
