In a laboratory at the Center for International Research on Integrative Biomedical Systems (CIBiS) at the Institute of Industrial Sciences at the University of Tokyo, Professor Shoji Takeuchi and his research team have created a two-legged biohybrid robot by combining muscle tissue and artificial materials.
