Unpleasant news for Liverpool. The outstanding midfielder of the English runner-up injured his hamstring during the 2:2 draw against Fulham last Saturday and will be out for a period of up to six weeks.
National team midfielder Babrad is expected to return to the pitch in mid-September, meaning that he will miss Liverpool’s games against Crystal Palace, Manchester United, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Everton and Wolves.
Beyond the six league games in which he will not take part, Tiago may miss his team’s games in the Champions League as well. The house stage of the prestigious factory on the continent will start on September 6/7, with the second round taking place on September 13/14.
