Brazil Suzan Christian Barbosa Ferreira, 42 years old, was found dead in rural Detroit, in the state of Michigan, United States of America (USA). The victim was on the side of the highway and without clothes. The woman left a daughter, aged 15, and a son, aged five.
Brazilian Suzan’s family lives in Pedro Leopoldo, in the Greater Belo Horizonte (MG), and is asking for help to bring her body to the country. According to information from the victim’s family, the main suspicion of the American police is that it was a sexual crime. She worked in imports and traveled alone on business to the USA.
Brazil had a visa
Roberta Barbosa Ferreira, in an interview with the portal g1, said, “He was the only one [das irmãs] that he had seen, that’s why he made the trip. There was no disagreement in Brazil, I did not use drugs. We only know it was a sexual crime because she was found exposed.”
According to relatives, the American police began to investigate the case. On the other hand, there is still no information on what happened to Suzan.
“The last message was when she said she was in a hotel and she was tired, she was going to take a shower and rest. She did not mention that she was going out. Police investigators in the US did not provide information regarding possible motivations, because the investigation lasts between four and five weeks”, clarified the sister.
The family is asking for financial help to transport the victim’s body to Brazil. According to relatives, transport costs should be around R$100,000. “The costs of bringing the company are high and our family does not have these resources,” said Roberta.
