From Jerusalem comes the sad news of the passing of the righteous woman Mrs. Leah Shakdi from Jerusalem, wife of Yablchata HaGaon Rabbi Amiram Shakdi and sister of Garbash Salomon Zatzal Rabbi of Petach Tikva. Passed away after a sudden stroke at the age of 72. Her funeral at noon from her home in the interior of the Mount of Repose

Baruch Dayan the Truth: At the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, the important and righteous woman Mrs. Leah Shakdi A.H., from Panim Meirat Street in Jerusalem, who suffered a sudden stroke and was admitted to the hospital where she died at the age of 72, passed away.

The deceased was born on the 27th of Tevet 5777 to her father the Gaon Rabbi David Salomon ztzel, rabbi of Kfar Avraham in Petach Tikva which before that was an independent settlement. A.H., the daughter of Rabbi Yisrael Aryeh Sapir zt’l, Rabbi of Petach Tikva.

In the home of her great parents, she grew up and was educated in a home of dedication to the Torah, upon reaching Parka, she married her husband, the Gaon Rabbi Amiram Shakdi Rosh, including Alei Deborah in Jerusalem and the computers of the disciples of the sages.

She won and left behind a blessed generation of righteous people, 12 children, among her sons Rabbi Nehemiah Shakdi of the municipality of Bnei Brak, Rabbi Rafi Shakdi of the business elites in Antwerp, Belgium, and other sons and daughters-in-law and descendants who continue in her footsteps. Her brother, the Gaon, Rabbi Baruch Shimon Salomon, rabbi of Petach Tikva and head of the Nachalat David yeshiva, died in 5699.
