The semi-final of the World Cup, won by France over Morocco (2-0), had a bitter taste this Thursday morning in La Mosson, a popular district of Montpellier (Hérault). After the match, around 10:30 p.m., avenue de Barcelona, a white C4 vehicle displaying a tricolor flag through the open rear left window suddenly turned around. He crossed the tram tracks then ran into a group to get free. He mowed down at least three people, including Aymen, 14, a fourth-grade student. Rescued in cardiorespiratory arrest by the firefighters of Sdis34, he finally died in the emergency room of the hospital center.
