A car crashed this Sunday afternoon into the building of a police station in Brussels, an accident that produced no casualtiesas reported by the police in the Brussels capital-Ixelles area.

The incident, which could be intentional, took place against a police station located in the Laeken neighborhood (northwest of Brussels), according to the Belgian agency.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested shortly after.

Car entered the police station building through the facade while backing up after having given a complete circle through the parking lot of the place.

The accident caused significant damage to the building but no victims, despite the presence of agents in the building.

The Brussels Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into the motives and circumstances of what happened.
