The police have registered a case against 6 people in a dispute over running a tea shop in Tirukanur-Tiruknuar.
Ananda Venu, 43, hails from Narayanasamy Nagar, Tirukanur. He has been working as a master at Arun’s tea shop opposite Thirukanur Police Station for the past two years. Thereafter, daily Rs. 1,000 as rent and Arun shop was run by Ananda Venu himself.
Meanwhile, there was a difference of opinion between Arun and Ananda Venu.
As a result, Anandavenu opened a tea shop alone in Madurapakkam, Tamil Nadu near Thirukanur. Enraged by this, Arun, along with his co-worker Kathavarayan and three others, went to Anandavenu’s house on the night of 23rd and attacked him with a rolling pin and a sandal.
On the complaint of Anandavenu, the remaining 5 people including Arun, and on the complaint filed by Arun, the Tirukanur police are investigating and registering a case against Anandavenu.
