Washington: David DePape, who attacked the husband of US Parliament Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was charged with attempted murder. The assailant hit Paul Pelosi (82) on the head with a hammer while shouting, “Where is Nancy Pelosi?”
The assailant broke into their home in California. As soon as he entered, Paul was hit on the head with a hammer. Paul Zuckerberg underwent surgery at a San Francisco hospital after suffering a skull injury in the attack. His right hand is also injured. He has overcome danger.
Nancy Pelosi was in Washington when the attack took place. As soon as they got the news, they came to San Francisco. It was reported that Nancy Pelosi was the target of the attacker. San Francisco police arrested the accused after the attack.
Nancy Pelosi’s spokesman, Drew Hamill, said the attacker entered the house dressed as a police officer and threatened Paul that his life would be in danger if he did not meet Nancy Pelosi.
