Nigun Chabad Hakafot | Elisaf Hefetz

The Kapot song is a song of joy that is attributed to the divinely accepted Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneursahan (Rabbi Levik), the father of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

Rabbi Levi Yitzchak said that he had a kabbalah in his hands, that this tune was sung during Simchat Torah circles at the old rebbe’s place.

This tune was very fond of the Rebbe in an unusual way and it is played not only during the circumambulation but on almost every occasion of joy, meeting and encouragement when entering and leaving a synagogue.
