Every year in Tamil Nadu, Kalpana Chawla Award is given during the Independence Day celebrations to honor those who have done heroic deeds and who have talent and courage. Subsequently, the Government of Tamil Nadu awarded them the Anna Padhak on the occasion of the Republic Day. In this way, the Tamil Nadu government has announced that you can apply for the Anna Medal award for the current year.
You can apply for this through the District Head or through the website https://awards.tn.gov.in. Last date to apply is 15th December. Eligible persons will be selected to receive the award from applications submitted.They will be felicitated by the Chief Minister with a medal worth Rs.9000 during the Republic Day function. Apart from that, a check for one lakh rupees will also be given.
