A two-and-a-half-year-old girl in Alankulam was admitted to the hospital after she went into a coma, but now the child has died. In this case, the police are looking for the stone-hearted parents who left the child in the hospital and went into hiding.
Dilip Kumar alias Sakthivel and Hemalatha of Chennai Pallipattu area, 3rd Street, 3rd Lane, Alankulam, Annanagar, Dilip Kumar and Hemalatha, along with their two-and-a-half-year-old child, Hasini, were living in a rented house for the past 6 months. Shaktivel used to work as a porter in Kaiganich Market and in a private textile shop opposite the Hemalatha Taluk office.
Despite being a newcomer to the residential area, baby Hasini has attracted the residents of the area by speaking with her baby voice within 6 months. Neighbors have also been very kind to the child. Hasini became a pet for the residents of the street.
In this case, the parents admitted the child Hasini to the Alankulam Government Hospital on the grounds that she fell at home on December 31. As the child was found unconscious, after first aid, he was admitted to the Tirunelveli Government Medical College Hospital for further treatment. He was receiving treatment in the intensive care unit there for the last 4 days. While both the parents were in the hospital with the child, they suddenly disappeared without telling anyone or informing the police.
Following the incident, the Alankulam police were investigating from various angles whether it was really their child and whether the details given by them were true, but this morning the girl died in the hospital. Even now the child’s parents have not come looking for the child and the police are still investigating.
