A cloud of plasma thrown by the Sun flies to the Earth

by time news

On the first day of summer, the Earth will reach a cloud of solar plasma, ejected by the Sun on May 28.

According to spaceweather.com, in the new 25th solar cycle, this ejection will be the brightest and fastest. At the same time, only the peripheral part of the “cloud” will reach the Earth’s surface, therefore significant magnetic storms are not expected.

Residents of the polar latitudes will be able to observe the aurora on June 1.
