The Ministry of Culture of the Nation together with the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage of Chile and the MATTA Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Republic of Chile in Argentina, will hold an act this Sunday at the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK) commemorative for the 50 years of the military coup against the democratic government of Salvador Allende. The activity is free and does not require ticket reservations to attend.

At 7:30 p.m., a “mapping” with content related to the anniversary will be projected on the façade of the CCK, on ​​Sarmiento Street. In addition, a concert of poets and singers of Argentine and Chilean popular music will be presented, who will perform great works from the trans-Andean songbook of democracy, with orchestral arrangements and musical direction by Julián Caeiro.

The Argentine artists Lorena Astudillo, Flor Bobadilla Oliva, Victoria Bichner, Tomi Llancafil, Luz Matas, Luciana Jury, Agustín Ronconi and La Charo will be present. Representing Chile, the artists Manuel García, Mauricio Redolés, María Colores, Esperanza Restucci and Daddyblue. There will also be the special participation of Benjamín Vicuña and Patricio Contreras.
