Al-Marsad newspaper: The Egyptian consultant, Mohamed Refaat, warned against excessive intake of vitamin C as we approach the winter season, because its increase is dangerous to human health and may cause infertility.

He added, in an intervention with the Egyptian Channel 1, that vitamin C helps the body absorb vitamin A, which is responsible for growth and reproduction, while if it exceeds its limit, it prevents its absorption, which may cause infertility.

He pointed out that it helps the body to resist infectious diseases, noting that foods rich in it are: liver, fish, eggs, milk, vegetables, and colorful fruits.

He pointed out that vitamins are of two types, the first being the fat-soluble vitamins, and the second being the water-soluble vitamins.

He added that one of the fat-soluble vitamins is vitamin A, which is necessary for reproduction, growth, eyes, skin and hair.
