It could have ended much worse. A construction worker was rescued after two days in which he was “completely buried” following the collapse of scaffolding he was standing on at a construction site in Utah in the United States, as was announced in the media networks in the United States this evening (Wednesday). The worker was found conscious but badly bruised. Immediately after finding him, he was taken to the nearest hospital while he was breathing and in a stable condition.

As mentioned, the accident occurred last Monday and began, according to evidence from the field, following drilling that was carried out at the same site and caused a rockslide at the site. One of the rocks hit the building with force while dozens of workers were in it and thus the site collapsed on its occupants.

Law enforcement agencies in the city began investigating the incident. There is suspicion of negligence on the part of the managers of the construction company and the site supervisor. As of these moments, no additional reports have yet been published about the causes of the accident and additional injuries.
