The contract for a new sewage project in Lamia was signed.

This is the project “Construction of Sewerage Networks for Settlements of the Sperchiou Basin with the recipient of the Lamia Sewage Treatment Facility”.

The contractor of the project is TEDRA ANONYMOS TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENTAL COMPANY with d.o. TEDRA and the contract signing ceremony took place on January 17, 2024. The Contracting Authority is Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Lamia (D.E.Y.A.L.)

The auction of the project took place on September 26, 2023 and on September 27 the bids were unsealed. The duration of the project is set at 18 months from the signing of the relevant contract.

The initial estimated value of the project including VAT was €9.46 (amount excluding VAT €7.63 million), while the final cost including VAT was €9.17 million (amount excluding VAT €7.39 million). euro). The criterion for awarding the contract is the most economically advantageous offer based on price alone (lowest price).

The project is funded by the Recovery & Resilience Fund.

The object of the project

The project concerns the rational management of the urban wastewater of the settlements of D.E. Lamias, which do not have sewage networks, in the following settlements:

  • Heraklion
  • Moschohori
  • N. Krikelos
  • Vardates
  • Gorgopotamos
  • Zacchaeus
  • Party
  • Tame
  • Agrilia
  • Wicker

Along with the required pumping stations and depressant pipelines to transport the sewage to the network leading to the E.E.L. Lamias.

The drainage project for the above settlements has a total pipeline length of 48,414 m, PVC gravity pipelines of Φ200 to Φ355 cross-sections, and 13,575 m of twin depression pipelines of Φ110 to 200 cross-sections, together with nine small and medium-sized sewage pumping stations.

The projects will be delivered complete with their technical works, road pavement restorations, private sewer connections, pump station equipment in full, normal and efficient operation, according to A.E.P.O..
