Senator Warren ran for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination and competed with candidates Harris and President Joe Biden. She is popular with progressive voters for her calls for a wealth tax. In 2017, she disclosed a past situation in which she had been at risk of sexual assault. Longoria, who has supported organizations for victims of sexual assault, said, “As Americans, we are all one big family and must support each other’s dreams. Kamala’s success is our success.”

Performers on stage that day included the three-member female country band ‘The Chicks’, who criticized former President George W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq, and the female singer ‘Pink’, who sang songs supporting immigrants and same-sex couples.
