On May 8 at 20.00, in the hall of the Opera Studio at the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, a creative evening will be held by the famous Russian fashion historian, art critic, collector, host of the TV program “Fashionable Sentence” on Channel One of Russia (2009-2022) Alexander Vasiliev, Day.Az reports.
The creative evening of Alexander Vasiliev will be held under the title “East and Fashion”.

Alexander Vasiliev is a famous collector, fashion historian, art critic, interior decorator, theater artist, author of books and articles on this topic, TV presenter of a number of TV programs, honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts.
Vasiliev is the owner of one of the world’s largest private collections of ancient costume, which has been growing since 1985 and includes several tens of thousands of exhibits. Among them are items of clothing and accessories, as well as paintings and photographs on the topic of fashion history. The European part of the collection is kept in the city of Visaginas in Lithuania, as well as in Paris (France). The Russian and Soviet parts of the collection are located in Moscow. We are especially proud of the costumes that belonged to famous singers, actresses and ballerinas.
