The festival, under the artistic direction of Roni Plus and Danny Moga, was held in collaboration with the Institutes of Italian Culture in Tel Aviv and Haifa, and China Cheetah in Italy.

A special spotlight will be dedicated at the festival to three of the big and old names that made Italian cinema famous in the world:

Sergio Corbucci is one of the most important Italian directors and the director of ‘Django’ (Italy, 1966) which served as an inspiration for Quentin Tarantino’s well-known film ‘Django No Limits’. The festival will screen “Django and Django” (Italy 2021), the documentary film by Steve Della Casa and Luca Rea, including previously unpublished period materials and an interview with Tarantino. Corbucci’s film ‘The Great Silence’ (Italy 1968) with Jean-Louis Triniyan and Klaus Kinski will also be screened.
