Malappuram: A differently-abled woman was gang-raped in Parapanangadi. Three people were taken into custody by the Perampra police in the incident.

Munir, Sajeer and Prajeesh, natives of Nedua, were arrested. Sajeer is an auto driver. A 19-year-old native of Perampra was gang-raped. The young woman left for her relative’s house from Perampra and got lost and reached Parappanangady railway station. Accused Munir and Prajeesh approached the girl saying that they would help.

The complaint is that he was then taken to the next building and raped. Then he was tortured again saying that he would take him to Kozhikode along with another autorickshaw driver, Sajeer. The woman escaped and boarded a train to Kasaragod.

After reaching Kasaragod, the police brought the woman to Kozhikode. Then a complaint was filed with the police. The accused were caught with the help of cyber police. Police said that further investigation is going on in the incident.
