Doctors recommended the family of the American actor, Tom Sizemore, 61, to end the artist’s life, after they said that there was no hope for his recovery after suffering from a cerebral aneurysm.

Charles Lago, director of Sizemore, said, according to CNN, that the actor’s family is now considering whether to make its decision regarding the doctors’ recommendation, indicating that a statement will be issued in this regard, on Wednesday.

Sizemore suffered an aneurysm in the brain on February 18, and was taken to hospital in critical condition and is in intensive care, according to NBC News.

Lago asked for “privacy for his family during this difficult time” and said, “We would like to thank everyone for the hundreds of messages of support and prayers that have been received.”

Sizemore is best known for his acting in a number of films, such as his role in the 1998 Academy Award-winning film “Saving Private Ryan” and his role in Strange Days.
