Sény Sané, as it is him, according to our information, would have premeditated his act. Because according to the public prosecutor at the court of first instance of Koundara, the deceased would have informed a neighbor and his director that he is going to commit the irreparable. Reached by telephone on the morning of this Thursday, September 12, he returned to us on the situation.
“Exactly yesterday I received information that the director of studies of Sareboid committed suicide by throwing himself into a well. Immediately, the security services were activated, after the preliminary investigations, the suicide theory was confirmed. The body was returned to the family for burial. It should be noted that Seny Sané had informed his director and an old woman, one of his neighbors that he was going to commit suicide. Moreover, when the woman told her this while she was trying to alert the other neighbors, the man ran to throw himself into the well, and death followed. Seny Sané left behind a widow and three children. The director of his school confirmed that he had told him on the phone that he was going to commit suicide. So the deceased was buried, that is what happened here,” says Patrice Koma Koivogui.
The prosecutor then added that the victim was to take part in a tournament, the trophy of which was dedicated to him.
