BOLZANO. Approximately ten bins went up in smoke during the night in Bolzano. The evening of intense work for the firefighters of the Permanent Corps of Bolzano with the help of the volunteer firefighters of Aslago-Oltrisarco began around midnight with the first dumpster going up in flames in the Dodiciville area.
Other fires to bins followed, all malicious, in various points in the center of Bolzano. A Fiat 500 and a bicycle, parked next to the bins set on fire, were also damaged. The last dumpster was set on fire around six in the morning.
The agents of the Bolzano Police Headquarters stopped a man, a 20-year-old non-EU citizen, known to the police. It is located in the security cell of the Bolzano Police Headquarters.
The Police Commissioner Paolo Sartori ordered the revocation of his residence permit. The police commissioner will also issue a decree to expel the man from Italian territory. The twenty-year-old’s gesture would have been generated by a misunderstanding with a woman with whom he had had a relationship.
