A private vehicle collided with the rear of a truck, on Highway 1 near the Shaar HaGai interchange going uphill towards Shork. Medical teams gave the injured man medical treatment and evacuated him to a hospital. The driver of the car, a man about 30 years old, was in a critical condition after being trapped in the car.
MDA paramedic Dror Eini and MDA medic Bnei Yozef: “We saw a private vehicle trapped under the back of a truck that was in the lane of travel. The driver of the vehicle, a 30-year-old man, was unconscious and suffered a severe head injury. While extricating him from the vehicle, we gave him life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital while continuing to treat him as he is in critical condition.” (Photo: Archive)
