Funny things people do when they’re drunk often make the news. One such interesting incident took place recently in Bournemouth, England. The police received a phone call last Sunday morning. A man protests on the pavement outside the Premier Inn in Bournemouth. He is protesting by lying on the road, drunk and untied. Then, the police reached the spot. A man is lying on the way to the hotel. The police questioned him.

The police asked him why are you lying on the road when you should be sleeping in your own bed. That’s when he tells about the hotel staff’s harassment against him. He complained that he was drunk until dawn and went to the hotel to sleep, but the hotel staff did not let him inside. He told the police that he was lying in front of the hotel as a protest. So the police went to the hotel and searched. That’s the real twist. He was drunk and half conscious and the hotel had changed.

He did all this drama thinking that it was the hotel where he was staying. But all went in vain. He went in front of the wrong hotel and made a fuss looking for his room. Anyway, finally the police took him to the hotel where he was staying. The hotel was next door. “Officers tackled a drunkard trying to enter a hotel without a booking. He was lying on the floor in protest. The officers finally took him to the hotel where he was booked,” the police tweeted.

Last month, a drunken man stole a police patrol car in Colorado, USA, and then the police chased him in movie style and caught him in the news. 33-year-old Jeremiah James Taylor was arrested. He has eight charges against him, including theft of a motor vehicle. An intoxicated Taylor broke into the unoccupied Park County Sheriff’s substation.
