Among the projects of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev, it has become a tradition not only to perform performances by famous foreign musicians, but also to conduct their master classes. Among them we can name such musicians as Mark Drobinsky (cello), Roman Fedchuk (violin), Avaz Abdullah (baritone).

Another master class was conducted by the famous violinist, conductor and composer from Germany Anar Bramo in the Hall of Chamber and Organ Music (Kirch) of the Philharmonic, Day.Az reports.

The musician shared his knowledge and experience with colleagues and young talents, expressing delight at the level of training of young musicians. Gratitude was expressed to the teachers for their professional work. The musician demonstrated the simplest ways to solve certain performance problems, paying attention to the smallest details and nuances. Violin works by Bach, Mozart, Paganini, Ernst, Wieniawski, and Brooks were presented.

Anar Bramo (Ibragimov) was born in 1981 in Baku, now lives in Germany. At the age of five he began learning to play the violin. At the age of 14 he gave his first solo concert in the Philharmonic Hall. In 1997 he graduated from the Gymnasium of Arts with honors. In 1998 he entered the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli. Since 2002, he continued his studies at the Cologne University of Music and Dance in Germany.

From 2002 to the present day, Anar Bramo has been active in concert activities throughout Europe. It is interesting that in August 2002, with the support of Comune di Genova (Italy), N. Paganini’s violin “Sivori” was brought to Azerbaijan to be performed at Anar’s concert in Baku. By that time, the Sivori violin, kept in the Genoese Museum for 180 years, was played by only 12 famous violinists.

In 2006 in Paris, Anar Bramo was awarded the Hector Berlioz medal by the National Berlioz Association. From 2010-2016 he worked as assistant concertmaster of the Südwestfalen Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2020 he has been chief conductor of the Attendorn Chamber Orchestra and conductor of the Oberberg Symphony Orchestra.
