Employees who try to make personal profit by disclosing the company’s trade secrets can be fined between Dh20,000 and Dh10 lakh. Employees can also be dismissed without warning.

IT Disclosure of other people’s information using the systems is punishable under the country’s cyber laws.

Strict action will be taken against those involved in such crimes. Important documents related to the employer and the employer should not be kept by the employees.

Legal experts noted that firms include confidentiality clauses in most employment contracts and such clauses can help strengthen the employee-firm relationship.
