A fire broke out in a house in Beitar Illit, if the family rescued the child from the burning room

by time news

A fire broke out recently (Sunday) in a children’s room of a residential apartment on Mifal Hashas Street in Beitar Illit. Miraculously, the mother of the family, who smelled the fire, managed to rescue the child who was in the room where the fire broke out. Their two other children, firefighters and volunteers from the Judea Regional Station, arrived at the scene and worked to extinguish the fire and search for others trapped. No casualties have been reported so far.

Reshef Avi Ben Saadon, commander of the shift: “A report was received at the Judea and Samaria police station about a fire in a children’s room in an apartment on Mifal Hashas Street in Beitar Illit. Firefighters and volunteers from the Beitar Elite unit rushed to the scene. When the crews arrived at the scene, firefighting operations of a burning bed in the nursery began, in parallel with searches for trapped people. Preliminary interrogation of the homeowners reveals that if the family smelled a burnt smell, when she entered the nursery she saw a fire and her 11-year-old son was helpless and did not know what to do. “Immediately she took him out of the room, and immediately afterwards her husband and she took two other children out of the smoky apartment.”
