At 21:13 (Sunday), a report was received about a fire that broke out in a residential apartment on the third floor of a building on Weizmann Street in Safed.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they identified a certain fire from a house on the third floor. Crews immediately began firefighting, searching for trapped people, disconnecting energy sources and ventilating the heavy smoke. No casualties were reported in the incident but damage was done to the structure.
The incident has now been brought under control. The circumstances of the fire will be investigated by a fire investigator.
