A fire broke out last night (Friday) in a building that serves as a synagogue on Shahal Street in Jerusalem. And no report of casualties.Damage was caused to the synagogue property.
Reshef Haim Mizrahi, the shift commander who commanded the firefighting operations: “We arrived at the scene with four crews assisted by a crane. We saw the smoke emanating from the shelter’s ventilation vents. We broke the iron door and immediately started the firefighting operations. “The many we used to put it out. It is too early to determine what caused the fire, but according to the findings on the ground, it is suspected that it started with a forgotten Saturday plate on fire. The investigation team has already begun investigating the circumstances of the incident.”
