Abu Dhabi: The fire in a twelve-story building in Abu Dhabi has been brought under control. A fire broke out in the building on Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Street at one o’clock on Monday night. Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defense rushed to the spot and started putting out the fire.

No one was injured in the incident. The fire was brought under control around 3 am. Authorities have launched an investigation to find out the cause of the fire. The police appealed to the public to trust only information from official sources.

Manama: A huge fire broke out in a labor camp in Bahrain. The civil defense authorities informed that the incident took place in Sitra last morning. Nine fire engines and 30 civil defense personnel brought the fire under control after a long effort.

A statement issued by Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior said that civil defense was able to bring the fire under control without spreading to other areas and no one was injured. After extinguishing the fire, steps were also taken to cool the area. The General Directorate of Civil Defense said that the investigation into how the fire started is in progress. Local media reported quoting eyewitnesses that there was heavy smoke in the area for a long time and it was visible from a long distance.
