A fire broke out in the A. D. Ruban mine in the Kemerovo region, more than a hundred people are being evacuated to the surface, emergency services told RIA Novosti.
“A fire in the face occurred in the A. D. Ruban mine, 128 miners are being brought to the surface,” the agency was told.
The press service of the Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK) reported that the fire was due to “heating of the seam”, and a plan to eliminate accidents was put into effect.
According to the Unified Dispatch Service, an abandoned adit is on fire, the miners are being taken out of neighboring adits, Interfax found out. The agency cites other data on the number of miners – 140 people. According to preliminary data, no victims.
