He tried to prove in court that the test was positive because of the use of drugs

A firefighter from Lucky has been fired from the MIA system for driving under the influence of alcohol, in which he almost hit a patrol car.

He was on duty on the evening of June 16 and at 10 p.m. he got into his car to buy cigarettes. On the way back, he took a sharp turn with his jeep and had a dangerous collision with a police car. It did not come to an impact on its own due to the quick reaction of the uniformed person behind the wheel.

The policemen followed him and asked to test him when he was already parked in front of the Fire Station. At first the driver refused, but then they agreed, the dragger reported 1.13 per thousand. Then he also gave blood and the test showed 0.78 per thousand.

The Fire Department employee was dismissed on disciplinary grounds and challenged the order to that effect before the Administrative Court in Plovdiv. In the course of the case, he tried to prove that he had been drinking at a family gathering the night before, but not on the same day. Then he developed the version that the test was positive because of the use of drugs. However, the experts are adamant that this is impossible with the medications listed by him.

Thus, the dismissal order was confirmed with a decision that is subject to appeal before the Supreme Court.
