Eloy Ayrton Rivera, a former participant in the 2015 edition of Big Brother and with a history of gender violence, remains hospitalized at the Fernández hospital as a detainee after having rebuked his ex-partner and the woman’s current boyfriend, the influencer Franco Coronel, with a knife in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo: Coronel stabbed him after disarming him.
Investigation sources confirmed to Infobae that everything happened last Friday, at 10:30 p.m., at the intersection of Dorrego and Luis María Campos avenues, right where the 1st and 2nd Patricios Regiments are. The two men are under arrest for the crime of attempted homicide, in a case being investigated by Judge Martín Peluso, in charge of the National Criminal and Correctional Court 9.
“Rivero is still hospitalized and in police custody. When he is able to testify, he will be transferred for an investigation. Some circumstances of the attack remain to be clarified,” they confirmed to this medium.
It all started last Friday when Coronel and Di Mario, their couple, were arriving at the home where the woman, who is a model, lives. According to the young woman, who is a witness in her case, Rivero had a restraining order and could not approach her, but he still appeared on the scene and surprised them. He scolded them and took out a tramontine-type knife.
Given this, Colonel fought with Rivero, always according to Di Mario’s statements to the authorities, and in this context the influencer took the knife from the former GH: he made cuts at the height of the left shoulder, in the right area of the thorax, which caused a lung injury; and in the ear on that same side.
After giving notice to 911, a patrol car from the 14B police station of the City Police and a SAME ambulance arrived, which transferred Rivera to the Fernández Hospital, where this Monday he remained hospitalized and with police orders.
Judge Peluso had the same temperament with Coronel, when evaluating that “he did not limit himself only to disarming him and defending himself, but left him badly injured,” a source with access to the case revealed to the Télam agency.
Meanwhile, other sources consulted reported that the father of a young woman had denounced him for “harassment and mistreatment” on March 14, in a case for family violence, and in that case, which is being investigated by the National Court of First Instance in Civilian #56 also had an approach restriction.
In addition, he had a case from September 2021 for “threats” that was archived and another, prior, from February 2021 for “mistreatment and defamation” by a producer who is still under investigation, the sources clarified to this medium.
Antecedent
It’s not Rivera’s first arrest. In June 2022, he was arrested at the door of her home in the town of Burzaco, after what was her partner at the time denounced him for beating her and threatening to kill her with a knife.
Nor was it the first time that Rivera has been accused of this crime: the young man has two previous cases for threats made to two women. Also in Mexico he was delayed for trying to stab his girlfriend at the time.
