For some, with imagination, we could have thought that we would go back a few years. When the sports palace Marcel-Cerdan in Levallois hosted the Betclic Élite (basketball division 1st) the games of Metropolitans 92, or even, more forward, of Paris-Levallois. All the elements are there: the room is almost full (around 2,500 spectators), the decibels emitted by the speakers and the two big screens on which the team players are presented before the start. All done by Jamil Roussi, the historical speaker of the team (but absent for several seasons) and the voice of basketball in Île-de-France.
However, the Levalloisian venue only hosts a match of the Nationale 1 Championship (3rd level in France) this Friday evening, but this match is not a match like the others. It marks the beginning of a new adventure, the resurrection of a brand.
