The Ocean Exploration Trust team of scientists has made a startling discovery. During a dive to 1,417 meters deep in the Pacific Ocean, between Hawaii and Samoa, a mysterious gelatinous creature popped up. Experts have identified it as a specimen belonging to the narcomeduse order. This is the second encounter with this creature, already sighted in 2015. Scientists believe that it feeds on other gelatinous beings such as jellyfish and sea cucumbers. Its brownish color identifies this jellyfish as a predator of bioluminescent prey.
