Students trained here have demonstrated their talent at state and national levels. Students from various districts of the state, from class VIII to graduation, have trained and won many competitions. Apart from Jharkhand, Karnataka is the only government-run school of this kind in the country. Students from 8th standard to Graduation, ST Division can be admitted. In 2016-17, an Archery and Penstration Training Boarding School was established on five acres.
There is a spacious ground, hostel facility, necessary equipment for the game. Archery and swordsmanship are taught with international standards by the best coaches. Many students are already shining nationally in archery.
Eggs, dry fruit, fruit juice and milk are provided daily to the students here. Meat is provided five days a week. They train daily from 5:00 am to 7:30 pm and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. They also receive education in the interim. After dinner, there is archery practice. Lohit and Karthik give rigorous training and students learn with passion.
