This beautiful reception, tinged with emotion, joy and patriotism, brought together the Moroccan community established in this friendly country with their African brothers.
It was enhanced by the presence of several high-level personalities, namely the president of the Constitutional Court of Gabon and members of the government of this country.
Also taking part were representatives of the Foreign Diplomatic Corps accredited to Gabon and regional and international organizations and bodies, personalities from the world of economy, finance, business, culture, art and the media, among others.
Speaking on this occasion, the Moroccan Ambassador to Gabon, Abdellah Sbihi, stressed that, under the reign of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Kingdom, a land of peace and stability, has proven itself in several areas.
He noted that the Kingdom, through all its achievements, is more than ever an ally and a partner for many African countries.
Indeed, Mr. Sbihi added, HM the King gave priority to South-South cooperation through the agreements signed with several African countries, adding that on the bilateral level, 25 large-scale agreements were concluded before HM the King and President Ali Bongo.
“It should be noted that among the signed agreements are 2 projects in the field of Health and Social Affairs, namely 2 dialysis centers in Franceville and Port-Gentil, as well as two centers for autistic and Down syndrome people in Akanda,” noted the Moroccan diplomat.
All these centers were fully equipped and financed by the National Human Development Initiative (INDH), one of the largest projects set up under the reign of HM King Mohammed VI.
In this sense, the ambassador highlighted the actions of President Ali Bongo Ondimba and all the high Gabonese authorities, for all the efforts made to perpetuate the ancestral links, unequaled at all levels, between Gabon and Morocco, making the relations historic and highly strategic with unwavering support for lasting stability and peace.
