A group of four slashed – one seriously injured..! Incident in Yali

A sword attack has been carried out at a house in Bandatharippur area under Ilawalai police division.

One person was seriously injured in the said sword attack by a group of four.

The injured person is Sivanandan Jayakumar (42 years old).

The person who met the Governor and gave the complaint

This sword attack has been carried out on a person who recently met with the governor of the Northern Province and gave a complaint regarding the administrative frauds taking place in a temple.

Ilawalai police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
