During the faction’s meeting, the chairman of religious Zionism, Bezalel Smotrich, attacked the newspaper “time” after one of the journalists asked him about the reform of the judicial system, following a headline in which they wrote that “a settler killed an Arab”.
“The one who causes the greatest damage to the State of Israel, the one who defames it with lies, the one who turns the Israel Defense Forces, the Israel Police, the citizens of the State of Israel into criminals, war criminals, it is you, the one who runs the great delegitimization campaign against the State of Israel, it is you Smotrich told the time journalist.
Smotrich attacks Lapid: “Have you become a supporter of BDS?”
At a meeting of the “Religious Zionism” faction, the Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, attacked the opposition leader, Yair Lapid, and claimed that he is running a “political campaign to harm and damage the Israeli economy”, against the background of the video he posted on social media.

“Yesterday I saw a video that Yair Lapid specifically published, whose conclusion is that investments should be taken out of the State of Israel and transferred to Singapore. I want to address you Yair, you are Prime Minister and former Minister of Finance, what happened to you? Do you not have an iota of responsibility? Have you become a supporter of BDS? These moves of the opposition may cause some damage in the short term, but we are convinced that the Israeli economy is bigger and stronger than them and will continue to grow for many more years together with the reforms we are bringing now and with the responsible and balanced budget we will bring to the government next month.”
