A 46-year-old Haifa resident was detained for questioning on suspicion of attempting to poison a 49-year-old Haifa resident, her husband, a doctor at one of the city’s hospitals. After feeling unwell, he was hospitalized for several days for medical treatment. The police said that the investigation revealed that the woman tried to poison her husband with a dangerous substance. It was also reported that in accordance with the development of the investigation, it will be decided whether to apply tomorrow to extend the suspect’s detention in the Magistrate’s Court in Haifa.
