A Harley wins the Baja Aragón in the Maxi-Trail category

Joan Pedrero, the elite driver of the Dakar, has made history winning the 39th edition of the Baja España Aragón in the maxi trail category on the back of a fully stock Harley-Davidson Pan America 1,250. The pilot has achieved the first position in his category and has been the absolute winner of trail and maxi trail, and has been 17th overall, 1 hour and 6 minutes behind the overall winner, Tosha Schareina.

Faithful to the adventurous spirit that is part of the DNA of the American motorcycle brand, Harley-Davidson wanted to once again accept the challenge of racing off-road with Joan Pedrero riding the Pan America 1250, the first Harley-Davidson Adventure Touring model, completely standard.

The Pan America is equipped with the powerful Revolution Max engine and a 1,250 cc V-Twin with 150 horsepower with liquid cooling; It is the first adventure motorcycle from Harley-Davidson and is designed to compete with the big maxi-trails from BMW, KTM and Triumph.

The dense dust and high temperatures have characterized the race, and have made the pilot take the challenge of participating with the fully stock Pan America 1,250 to another level. During all the stages, the public has been able to enjoy watching the bike challenge the circuit and conquer the terrain. Joan Pedrero did not fail to impress the spectators driving the Pan America 1.250 and demonstrating the versatility and resources offered by the American model.

Joan Pedrero has been collaborating with Harley-Davidson for several years, and during this time he has pushed the Pan America to the limit on multiple occasions. Throughout this year, the rider has participated in different events and competitions such as the Verona Motor Bike Expo, in which she showed the skills of the Pan America on a dirt track.

The Dakarian also participated in the Basella Race on the back of a completely stock Pan America and finished successfully in sixth position. In April, he competed in the demanding Baja Extremadura race, in which he achieved outstanding results, also winning the Maxitrail category on that occasion.
