The Supporters Coordinator, made up of club members from all over the country, held a symbolic embrace at the AFA headquarters, located at Viamonte 1366 (CABA), with the intention of transmitting the damage that the implementation of Sports Anonymous Companies (SAD) would bring to the institutions.

Hernan Aisenberg, who is part of the Coordinator, He explained that it “was born in 2016, when the then president Macri tried to do something similar to the current proposal of the SAD. It is an organization that brings together fans and members grouped in each of the clubs throughout the country. This embrace was so that they stop pressuring the clubs that already exist and are Non-Profit Civil Associations, whose objectives have to do with culture, recreation, etc., and the objective is to grow in participation, not in the bills that a few people take.”

And when asked about the fact that many leaders agree that it is necessary to introduce private capital to sustain football in the clubs, Aisenberg said: “When we talk to people who are in favor of the SADs we ask them what the objective of this is, because the reality is that Clubs are not prevented from receiving local or foreign investments. For example, the advertising on shirts is a private investment, the signage in stadiums and television pay a high fee and we have to ask ourselves why we members cannot watch the matches without paying extra.”

He added: “This is not a war between actors like Milei, Tapia, Macri etc., it is an issue that involves us as partners. We maintain that if we do not like the current leaders, we should vote for others. The question is what would come in exchange for the corporations: an owner who buys the club, pays the debt and if there is bankruptcy, he leaves and there is no one to claim from.
