On Sunday afternoon, a fire broke out in the Ukmergė district – it was reported that the flames engulfed one’s own house.
In the general help center at 3 p.m. 25 minutes emergency services contact number 112 received a report that Ukmergės r. sav., Vidiškiu sen., Liūnelii village, a residential house is burning with an open flame.

Representatives of the Situation Coordination Department of the Fire Protection and Rescue Department informed the news portal lrytas.lt at 5 p.m. that the extinguishing work is still ongoing.
The fire was large – a house of approximately 600 square meters caught fire – most likely an apartment building, and a woodshed of 200 square meters located on the same property.
The fire is extinguished by a large fire brigade – 6 tanker trucks.
The cause of the fire is still being determined.
According to preliminary data, no one was injured – residents were not at home or managed to get outside in time.
