In a video shared on Facebook by Katrina Peek, a hammerhead shark can be seen running in the water, chasing stingrays during a high-speed chase in the shallow waters of the bay. A group of onlookers on the beach were seen watching at the water’s edge, in the water you could see parts of the shark’s struggle trying to catch the fish as it approached the shoreline. The people who were in the water fled in panic to the shore. “This is the first time we’ve seen anything like this, for sure,” Alec DeHostel, the friend of Peek who shared the video, told FOX 10. “I look out the window … and there it is. A massive 10- to 12-foot hammerhead … We We don’t know how big it was, but it was massive.”
