«PWhile all our politicians are debating endlessly, at least we are helping ours to stay warm,” enthuses Jenia Sikiritski, 46, as she finishes checking the loads of the three vehicles which will take to the road, the next day before dawn, from this village in the Russian region of Ryazan towards the Donbass, annexed by Russia. Convinced of the merits of“anti-terrorist operation” in Ukraine, Jenia, who has not done her military service, voluntarily helps those who, “on the front, defend us”.
